Weapons of 8 Shakti’s
NAVRATRI symbolizes the strength of Shiva and his eight Shakti’s.
The Ashtabhujadhaari Devis.
Ashtabhujadhaari Devi is shown with a Shakti holding 8 types of weapons in 8 hands.
What does it mean in actuality?
The 8 strengths are hidden within us. When Shakti uses these 8 weapons of knowledge, she becomes strong enough to trample the demons beneath her feet.
Which are these 8 strengths?
EMPOWERING these 8 strengths within us is the real way to invoke these 8 Shakti’s…
1) STRENGTH TO STOP REACTING TO THE WORST SITUATIONS, CRITICISM, ABUSE.
Just like the tortoise who takes shelter in his shell when confronted by negative forces. Make a shell around yourself such that you are not affected by criticism, negativity around you. Stay calm and send blessings instead. This will stop the depletion of your energy byreacting and in turn strengthen your inner force.
2) STRENGTH TO BE ALWAYS ALERT TO FACE ANY SITUATION.
Be ready to accept it and fortify yourself to face it bravely…
3) STRENGTH TO TOLERATE OPPOSITE SITUATIONS AND PEOPLE.
Respect the views of others. Understand that each person will behave according to how he is made. Send them vibrations of love and warmth. Bless them.
4) STRENGTHEN YOUR GOODNESS OF NOT MAKING A BIG ISSUE OUT OF OTHERS WEAKNESSES.
Remember, even if you have not created any tales but are simply forwarding it to others, you are adding to your bad karmas. Stop spreading tales about others.
5) STRENGTHEN YOUR POWER TO CONQUER YOUR EGO.
Be strong enough to accept the fact that, yes we can go wrong sometimes, and asking for forgiveness will not make you small in any way. You are a strong soul.
6) STRENGTH TO TAKE DECISIONS ON YOUR OWN.
However, major or minor it can be. Take responsibility of your own decisions.
7) STRENGTH TO CONQUER THE TEMPTATIONS OF GIVING UNSOLICITED ADVICE.
Stop giving advice because they will be implemented according to their sanskaras, not yours, but the effects of their actions will be added to your karmas.
8) STRENGTH to BLESS OTHERS, IMMATERIAL OF HOW THE OTHER PERSON BEHAVES.
Keep BLESSING. Because “WHAT YOU GIVE IS WHAT YOU GET ”.
May you all gather this strength to invoke the SHAKTIS in you.
Happy Navratra to all.
GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS.
